Recreational Overview

Fall 2021

The City SC Lake Elsinore Recreational Program is the foundation of our club, serving over 2000 recreational players within Lake Elsinore, Canyon Hills, Horsethief Canyon, and Wildomar. City SC Lake Elsinore is dedicated to providing a fun, safe and community based program for our families. It is our mission to offer a program where players have the opportunity to technically improve while having fun and building a love of the game. Our recreational program is a stepping stone into the competitive program. Please click here to view our City SC player pathway.

The City SC Lake Elsinore Recreational Program is overseen by the Director of Coaching for Recreational, Kelly Ayoub. We run two recreational seasons in the calendar year: a 10-week Spring League followed by our widely popular 12-week Fall Recreation League which runs from September – November.

Recreational soccer is open to all players between ages 3 and 15. No tryouts are required to join a team. The league does not guarantee the day, time or location of practices or games for players. Teams U8 and above teams may inter-league and travel for games to surrounding communities. Teams may play weekday games.

Buddy Requests

The league allows buddy and coach requests for those in the same age group. In the older age groups (U10/U12/U14), there are no buddy or coach requests allowed in the fall season with the exception of a coach and assistant coach whose children may be placed on the same roster. Siblings in the same division will automatically be placed on the same team unless the parent explicitly requests otherwise.

All teams are gender specific (no co-ed).
