The 2022 City SC Coach Education Weekend took place on Friday, April 29, with a classroom session at the Station Church in Carlsbad and concluded on Sunday, May 1, with a field session at Aviara Community Park in Carlsbad.
This yearly coach education symposium is paramount to the City SC competitive program and is the official start of the yearly curriculum and periodization. The classroom and field sessions aim to get all competitive coaches on the same page in terms of what they teach, how they teach it and when they should teach it.
Although an event for our coaches, the ultimate beneficiaries from Coach Education Weekend are the City SC players.
We want to thank our City SC Lake Elsinore, City SC Temecula, and City SC Menifee Valley coaches who joined our friends from San Diego County at the event – Carlsbad, South Bay and San Marcos.
