City SC – In The Community

Our area is made up of many neighborhoods with people from different backgrounds, races, and religions. Our club is a small entity in a big region, but we want to leave a larger footprint in our communities. We want to help tie our friends and neighbors together in a bond of fellowship, friendship and community. We must impact more people than just our players and families and strongly believe we have an obligation to give back to the local community and at the same time teach our children the importance of community service.

We can play an important role in the community and we realize the importance of fundraising for community causes and the massive impact our collective efforts can have on others. As part of this effort, the club has in place a community outreach arm we call City SC Ambassadors. Our Ambassadors consist of more than 20 parent volunteers whose main task is to find new ways to help our communities. If you have questions about our club and how you can help – you may have expertise in a specific area such as marketing, fundraising, special events, and other fields – please contact Terry Olsen (terry@citysclakeelsinore.com).

Current Community Projects/Fundraising Efforts

GEAR & UNIFORM COLLECTIONS & DISTRIBUTIONS
When uniforms become redundant in terms of personal and club use we request that members voluntarily donate uniforms and footwear that we can then pass onto areas in need. We are expanding our TOGA (Temecula Outgrown Gear & Attire) Program to neighboring cities for the 2020 year.

FINANCIAL AID PROGRAM SERVING OUR COMMUNITY
Many families and players could not experience the opportunities the club has to offer without our commitment to financial aid. The need is greater than ever and City SC Lake Elsinore is committed to help.

KICK WITH NICK
City SC coaches and players volunteer their time and services in the running of the annual 8-week soccer program for area autistic children. Our involvement is anticipated to become more important for the 2020 program.
